Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter has the feel of New Orleans at Mardi Gras, complete with
larger then life carnival masks and trombone playing alligators and yet the relaxing charm and
romance of the French Quarter. The Sassagoula River runs through the back of the resort and
goes up river to the Port Orleans Riverside and down river to the Downtown Disney® area.
Cascades of bougainvillea, glistening fountains and strolls along the Sassagoula River pathways
add to the charm and romance of this quiet little resort.
The quaint little “streets”, reminiscent of those found in the historic Jackson Square Warehouse
area of the French Quarter, branch off from the Courtyard and are lined with gas lamp-posts, mini
wrought iron fences, hitching posts and iron benches. Beautiful landscaping accentuated by
majestic oaks, pear trees and fragrant magnolias greet guests as they make their way to the seven
3-story buildings that house the accommodations. Accented by more lacy wrought iron railings,
each peach, cream or blue building has 144 guest rooms.

slide at this pool is a huge dragon. The pool also has an "Alligator Band" "playing" and squirting
